Floor Tech
Requirements
Position will consist of the following
Sweep, scrub & buff
Scrub and Recoat VCT
Strip and waxing VCT
The Floor Tech position will need the following experience:
Knowledge and experience with machines: Auto-scrubbers, low speed machines, buffers, etc.
Experience with recoating, and stripping and waxing: VCT, concrete, and other floor types
Knowledge and experience with chemicals: neutral cleaner, stripper, wax, etc.
Willing to work evenings Monday – Friday
Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours
Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time
Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions
Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals
Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules
Communication skillsAbility to lift heavy objects, climb ladders and work at particular heights
